There is no essential difference between automobile injection molds and other injection molds, but they also have many characteristics of their own. Because the added value of automobile injection molds is generally high, many advanced technologies (such as serial value hot runner control technology, internal parting surface technology, low pressure injection molding technology, etc.) occupy a priority position in the development and application of automobile injection molds.


1. Sequence value hot runner control technology (SVG technology)


Sequence value hot runner control technology (SVG technology) is a new type of suction control hot runner technology. It solves the problem of appearance defects of traditional multi-point synchronous gluing products, effectively avoids welding marks and cavitation defects in automotive interiors, reduces molding pressure, and plays a huge role in the strict requirements for the appearance of automotive interior and exterior trims.


2. Low pressure double layer injection mold technology


Low-pressure double-layer injection mold, also known as low-pressure injection mold, is a new type of injection mold technology. Traditionally, it relies on manual coating, vacuum adsorption of female and male molds, and direct one-time injection molding. The mold is complete. The main principle of the low-pressure injection mold is that the injection pressure of the plastic is low when the plastic is flowing. The products produced by this technology, because of the special soft fabric on the surface, are greatly improved in terms of decoration, feel and aesthetics. Therefore, low-pressure injection mold technology is widely used in high-end cars, generally used in car map package skeleton, car ABC column and other parts.


The main principle of the low pressure injection mold is that the injection pressure is low and flows on the cloth. When opening the mold, the cloth should be hung on the needle before opening the mold. The mold is closed, the injection is performed, and the part is removed.


Car bumper internal parting injection mold technology


In automotive injection molds, for automobile bumper products, the mold design usually adopts advanced internal parting surface technology. Its advantage is that the parting clip line is hidden on the non-appearance surface of the bumper, the appearance of the clip line cannot be seen after assembling on the car, and the appearance of the product will not be affected. However, the technology is more complicated than the outer parting bumper in terms of difficulty and structure, and the technical risk is also higher. The cost and price of the mold will be much higher than that of the outer parting bumper, but because of its beautiful appearance, it is widely used in mid-to-high-end cars.
